GET Africa collaborated with West Africa Health Organization (WAHO) to develop detailed framework studies on biosecurity in West Africa

The deliverables that were completed and submitted under the WAHO project are:

1. A framework for data governance (Security, Management, Access, and benefit-sharing and compliance) in Health, Biomedical and Environmental Research in West Africa.
2. Narrative report (Review of Existing Biosecurity and Biobanking Frameworks, Policies, and Institutions in ECOWAS Countries).
3. ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African Countries) integrated biosecurity policy.
